For new visitors to my blog, hello and welcome! I am a member of the literature community seeking to raise the profile of uplifting stories and poetry, in contrast to the already well-catered for network focusing on horror, angst and creepypastas. Those dark stories can be wonderfully evocative, but where is the network to present the best of the uplifting gems that can be found across the internet?
I do this by running a group, Inspiring-Stories and by supporting other writing or positivity-orientated groups wherever I can. I also run a YouTube channel named The Saturday Storytellers where I upload weekly narrations of feel-good stories. Sometimes I'm the narrator, sometimes not. You'll find that I host a lot of guest narrators!
I am always looking for more good-quality, positive stories (but only those with non-copyrighted characters, please. Unfortunately I don't host YouTube narrations of fan-fictions for copyright reasons), so if you have any, feel free to submit them to my group!
A final word on those narrations: if you'd like to try your hand as a voice actor, let me know and I'll find you a sample to read.
