My latest upload is an offbeat flash-fiction about a story that goes in search of its own ending. It's as quirky as they come, so click it and have a listen!

Written by SCFrankles and narrated by HorseygirlE

Making the video for HtJGiP was a blast - and an usual blast, at that. First off, I should just say that I can’t show you the thumbnail picture I used because just for once, there isn’t one (Yep, I know, I don't use them for Nightriders either, at least for now. Humour me and ignore that, ja?). There just weren’t any pictures anywhere that seemed to fit.

But music? Ah, the music was a different matter! HtJGiP lent itself to music from start to finish - and I figured it needed different music for different sections of the story, so here’s what I used:

The story’s journey begins to the optimistic melody of From The Dust: www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Gw31q…

The first ending the story finds on its quest is the action ending - so I used Speed Chase by Alex Lisi: www.youtube.com/watch?v=0iKBT9… Thanks Alex!

Next I used DesignShot’s delicate and morose Touch (www.youtube.com/watch?v=y30ht2…) for the sad ending the story buys.

MFVmusicforvideo contributed this deep and mysterious sound effect/musical piece (www.youtube.com/watch?v=p1U5EW…) for the hired writer.

This untitled piece (www.youtube.com/watch?v=IMiTbh…) signals the arrival of the editors with a tension that masterfully befits the danger the little story is in.

And last but absolutely not least: The Heist by Paper Yellow! Punchline’s smooth and stylish debut is set off by this track: www.youtube.com/watch?v=sL1gVI…

I hope that has given you some enjoyable listening!

For new visitors to my blog, hello and welcome! I am a member of the literature community seeking to raise the profile of uplifting stories and poetry, in contrast to the already well-catered for network focusing on horror, angst and creepypastas. Those dark stories can be wonderfully evocative, but where is the network to present the best of the uplifting gems that can be found across the internet?

I do this by running a group, Inspiring-Stories and by supporting other writing or positivity-orientated groups wherever I can. I also run a YouTube channel named The Saturday Storytellers where I upload weekly narrations of feel-good stories. Sometimes I'm the narrator, sometimes not. You'll find that I host a lot of guest narrators!

I am always looking for more good-quality, positive stories (but only those with non-copyrighted characters, please. Unfortunately I don't host YouTube narrations of fan-fictions for copyright reasons), so if you have any, feel free to submit them to my group!

A final word on those narrations: if you'd like to try your hand as a voice actor, let me know and I'll find you a sample to read.

I thought the music and the sound effects worked very well indeed. In particular, it was an inspired idea to have different themes for the different endings ^__^ Teh Conductor
